After some trouble made by our local partner in “old” Teddys Place, this partner runs the old place illegally without any business license and against a court decision from Zanzibar High Court. We just moved to a plot next to the old place and run the New Teddys Place officially and with all the spirit and enthusiasm our guests know and love since 2009. Since February 2012 we spend lots of energy to build up the new place so back packers still have the chance to discover Zanzibar. Thanks for your support and your understanding, if something is not perfect yet. We give our best every day  !!

Ok so you’re in Paje and you have no interest (or money) to do a kite course…there are plenty of other things to do. Ruben at SURF Zanzibar as lots of trips to do including Sunset SUPing (stand up paddleboarding), or take a trip out on the boards to the reef and test your surfing skills

Jozani Forest is the only national park in Zanzibar and is home to over 1000 Red Colombus Monkeys which can only be found here. Its well worth a trip if you are over this way……
